Otto Jacobsson is the Chief Executive Officer of YAP Global, an international digital assets PR and communications firm that works with meaningful companies and organisations in the cryptocurrency, decentralised finance (DeFi) and web3 sector. Otto will lead YAP Global's next phase of growth as institutional adoption of digital assets accelerates. With a background in investment banking and corporate finance at Deutsche Bank and PwC, Otto brings a wealth of financial and operational expertise, bridging traditional finance and digital assets as the industry matures.

Having joined YAP Global as CFO in 2020, Otto has overseen the firm's financial operations, supported international team expansion, and led business development efforts, winning key clients and mandates, while providing consultancy to high profile clients.

He is focused on further professionalising services and advisory capabilities, regionalisation of the business by leveraging YAP Global's presence in the UK, US, Singapore and the UAE and diversifying services beyond media relations into content creation, events, creative campaigns, capital markets communications, investor relations and public affairs.

Otto has is a regular speaker at blockchain industry events across continents, including Zebu Live and European Blockchain Convention on topics that range from traditional financial adoption of digital assets to onchain financial infrastructure.
